Ignacio Ríos was born in Tudela, Navarra, and he lives in Zaragoza now.

From very small he was totally fascinated by the bullfighting world. At the age of 15 he begins his professional development stage in the Bull’s world joining the renowned Bullfighting School “Del Carmen de Zaragoza” . Though, he finished his training with his first presentation with horses, he remains deeply linked to this school that makes him a bullfighter.

On August 10, 1997 he kills his first bull in the bullring of Calatayud. On the following year, he made his debut or star appearance as apprentice matador. His know how was recognized by the First Bullfighting Bolsin "Cuarte de Huerva", remaining in addition as finalist in the First Bullfighting National Bolsin " Tudela busca un Torero” (Tudela looks for a bullfighter).

His beginning were shining, demonstrated by the most prestigious recognitions:

    - Semi-finalist of the Bolsín Nacional Medina de Rioseco, with the participation of 60 apprentice matadors.

    - Honoring by the bullfight club Peña Taurina Alcañizana, for his brilliant career.

On October 8, 2000 he did his presentation without horsebreakers in the bullring of Zaragoza. In this season took place his "blood baptism", the first time he got gored in Mijares (Ávila).
